Basking in Gravity Shirts + Banners + More Healer
At Last: Basking in Gravity T-Shirts
Super stoked to give y'all first dibs on these rad new shirts. The "twisted roots" Yin logo design is by Lucas Korte aka Shoggoth Kinetics, whose work you may recognize from recent Blood Incantation, Gatecreeper, Insect Warfare, and Tomb Mold album art and apparel. The design is printed in three colors on white, short-sleeve Gildan Heavy Cotton by Pyre Press. Logo up front, with "Basking in Gravity: Yin Yoga with Cosmic Chambo" on the back.
We'll also have a few on hand at our next Basking in Gravity happening at Healer in Indianapolis on December 8 (see below). However! This was a relatively small inaugural run and we're already running low on larges and smalls so, y'know ... click click click to visit the online shop for more images.
Dead Bird Blues Banners
We also have four new banners in the shop, all of them from the recent Dead Bird Blues participatory mindfulness installations at Healer and Magick City. They've been hanging in the apartment windows here in Muncie too, so Delaware County heads may recognize them from a recent drive down Mulberry Street.
The Dead Bird Blues mandala is composed of photographs of a Northern Parula, a migratory warbler that I found dead on the sidewalk in downtown Muncie.
Each banner features images from different stages of the video work of the same name. There are only four of these currently available. We'll print more eventually, but who knows when! Click here to have a closer look.

The Basking in Gravity participatory mindfulness experience combines yoga, meditation, and immersive video installation. Led by artist Daniel Chamberlin, this slow and low sequence of asanas is complemented by projections of slow-moving mandalas composed of photographs of flowers, mushrooms, insects, dew, birds, and other organic and geologic subject matter. The practice also features a soundtrack of New Age, ambient, drone, dub, and “cosmic metal,” as heard on Chamberlin’s weekly Inter-Dimensional Music broadcast on WQRT Indianapolis and Marfa Public Radio on the West Coast of Texas.
These sessions are intended to be accessible to all bodies and experience levels: First timers are most welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat. For more information take a look at Healer on Facebook and Instagram, contact cosmic.chambo@gmail.com or visit daniechamberlin.com.
