Basking in Gravity: Yin Yoga with Cosmic Chambo

Basking in Gravity is a 90-minute Yin yoga and meditation session led by artist Daniel Chamberlin, aka #CosmicChambo. This unhurried sequence of asanas will be accompanied by a slowly revolving botanical mandala projection and a mix of ambient, drone, and “cosmic metal,” as heard on Chamberlin’s Inter-Dimensional Music program. Your can find ID Music broadcasting weekly on 99.1FM WQRT Indianapolis and the first Sunday of each month on the the West Coast of Texas via Marfa Public Radio.

Our practice is intended to be accessible to all bodies and experience levels. Please bring your own yoga mat. $10 suggested donation, but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. There is limited space for this event: First come, first served.

Daniel Chamberlin and Mark Perretta bring their collaborative drone* yoga series back to PlySpace Muncie on August 22. This immersive experience combines Yin yoga and meditation with botanical projections and Perretta's long-form keyboard and tape loop improvisations.

PlySpace Gallery has room for about 20 participants. First come, first served! First time yoga explorers always welcome. Please bring your own mat.
