For this fourth installment of our series loosely based on Dōgen’s Mountains and Waters Sutra, we remain focused on the mountains. Specifically, the idea that evaluating the virtues of spiritual practice based on loss and gain is missing the point. If you'd like to read along, we're using Shohaku Okumura's commentary.
